Even though these devices aren’t high-end, they are some of the best in their price range. The company seems to want to continuously deliver something new. Even when they don’t work on a totally new handset, they focus on improving the existing ones. Sometimes they change something in the hardware of a device, sometimes only the color. The latest news concerns the release of a limited edition OnePlus 3T, the Midnight Black.
Carl Pei just announced the release of the all black OnePlus handset. According to the company’s founder, they were working on the all-black smartphone for quite a while now. Thankfully, they didn’t stop until they managed to deliver exactly what customers were waiting for. The Midnight Black OnePlus 3T just looks amazing, we must admit it. The limited edition 3T is made of the same space-grade aluminum as the OnePlus 3 and the original 3T. This way, it is just as classy and durable as the previous models. The metal feel remains, the dark color is due to a coating which is only 14 microns thick. The result is a stunning black color, which is going to last for a long time.
The limited edition Midnight Black will only be available with 128GB of storage. This can be great news for some, and a bad one for others. However, it’s safe to assume that those who were eagerly waiting for the all-black version of the smartphone will be glad to go the extra mile for the 128GB storage. Other features, besides the color, are the same as the ones of the original 3T. These include a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 16MP back camera, and a 16MP front-facing selfie camera. All this is kept alive by the 3400mAh battery of the device.
The official announcement doesn’t share a lot of information concerning the availability of the OnePlus 3T Midnight Black. All we know is customers can first get their hands on this device starting March 24, at 04:00 PM GMT through HYPEBEAST. According to Carl Pei, more information on when the handset will become available in the company’s store will come soon. Customers should keep in mind that this will be an extremely limited edition. This means that they will need to move fast if they want to get their hands on one of these beauties.
